A Day in Our Life...

Our sweet little man is keeping smiles on my face. I love catching him smile, even if he is sleeping. Chisolm continues to be such an easy baby--what a blessing for me as I transition to 2 babes in the house.

I am finally on the mend after being sick for about, oh, 3 weeks now. I finally broke down and called the doctor on Monday to get some antibiotics and have progressively been feeling better all week. It's been a little rough trying to meet every one's needs while being so sick, but let's pray that is over now...

Louisa continues to be such a loving big sister. We've now taught her to hug Chisolm around his belly. Something I say about 5 million times a day--"Hug Chisolm around his belly, Louisa."

On another note, many of you know that Louisa is a food-crazed toddler. She will eat anything at anytime and is constantly asking me for a "nack". If the pantry is left open, that's where she'll be and we've even had to make sure to keep food on the back of the counter as she is now big enough to reach the counter!

Anyway, I came into the sunroom the other day to find our little gymnast (aka: Louisa) perched on the computer chair, reaching for the "nack" that had been placed on the back of the desk. Luckily, the camera was close by and I caught her balancing act in progress:

Reaching for the box of goodies...

Ahhh, got the bag of "nack" out of the box...

Oh good, Mama, you are here. I want this "nack". "opin, peas!"

I can't get too upset with Louisa and her search for food--she follows closely after my own heart. I always have some sort of treat, usually "chockit" (chocolate), hidden in pocket books, diaper bags, coat pockets, etc. Well, Louisa found a chocolate stash in one of my pocket books that I had left within her reach. I came into the room the other day to find her peeling the wrapper off a hershey kiss and shoving it in her mouth. I laughed and took the purse (unfortunately, I did not catch this on camera). She laughed too until she finished the "chockit"...
