Art Projects

I learned a new "painting" technique that is super easy, fun, and (most importantly) kids stay clean. This was a perfect art project for my 2 year old, Louisa. Materials you will need:
  • paper
  • a box for the paper, I used a letter box (in box/out box type deal)
  • marbles, or some other sort of small balls (marbles are harder to find than they should be!)
  • paint
Place the paper in the box. Then pick your paint colors and squirt as much as you want around the paper:

Next, drop your marbles/balls into the box:

Now for the fun...pick up the box and rotate it all around so that the balls are moving all over the paper:

And voila. Louisa absolutely LOVED this project. She had so much fun, we made several different "paintings".

The marbles and balls turned out to be a piece of art themselves!
