We were in Charleston for my 5 month birthday and spent the day with my grandmother, Lucky. We went shopping (not necessarily what every 5 month old boy wants to do, but they did get cute clothes for me!), ate lunch together, and just relaxed at Lucky's house. We would have loved to have gone for a stroll that day, but it rained all day (it rained almost everyday while we were home, no fair!). We visited with Louisa's friend, Elle, at her house. Miss Caroline held me for a while which was fun. Then we headed out to visit with Aunt Reeves and Uncle Billy! It was fun out there and I got to see my cousin's new room before he did (he won't be born until November, but I can't wait to meet him!). Mama, Louisa, Aunt Reeves, and Billy had a yummy stir fry dinner, then we got to hang out for a while. It was a really fun day and we all can't wait to meet baby boy Howard in a few short weeks!
Today I am 5 months old:
- I am rolling from back to front and front to back. I roll all over the place!
- I am reaching for things (and actually get them sometimes!)
- I am still drooling like a dog. Still no teeth yet, though!
- I love sticking my fingers and toes in my mouth. Well, really, I love sticking anything into my mouth, those are just always available!
- I giggle and squeel all the time!
- I love sitting in my exersaucer
- I love playing peek-a-boo
- been to Rendezvous Ribs (Mama's favorite!)
- been to Sewanee for my Dada's 10th reunion (he's old!)
- I got to meet my godfather, Uncle Birdsey!
- been to the TN Aquarium in Chattanooga
- partied all night long with Mama and Dada at the reunion (seriously, this kid was up all night with us, then slept in all morning--thank goodness!)
- been back to Charleston
- been to Los Comales--our new favorite Mexican Restaurant in Memphis (seriously, go eat there!)
