The Grass is Always Greener...

It is soooo true that kids always want the toy their friend is playing with.  Louisa will toss a toy aside and ignore it for weeks until someone else takes notice of it and decides to play with it--then it is suddenly the toy she must have immediatly.  We notice this mostly with baby toys that have been passed from Louisa to Chisolm.  Toys she couldn't possibly remember or have some sort of attachment to (we let her keep those!).  Right now, the biggest issue we are having is with the exersaucer.  Louisa probably does remember playing with it as she played with it until about 16-18 months (it converts to a kind of toy island once they are walking).  Anyway, Chisolm loves it:

But so does Louisa!

Most of the time, Louisa is sweet and helps Chisolm pull the toys and make the thing work.  But it was hilarious when I walked into the living room the other day to see that she had gotten into the exersaucer all by herself and was actually playing with it--intently!
