Last Friday, my SBS Bible Study had a fun retreat at Lanier's family lake house about an hour from Memphis. Louisa stayed home with her Dada and Chisolm came along with me and the girls. Chisolm and I drove up a bit early with Lanier and the rest of the group met us up there that evening. We had 11 ladies there and we had such a great time just hanging out, munching on junk food, and watching movies. Chisolm was a total ladies' man and had a great set-up in a big bowl. We couldn't have had a more perfect weekend to be there--the blue skies and warm weather were awesome. We woke up the next morning to another beautiful day and enjoyed some delicious breakfast, then all gathered on the porch for a group picture.
Yes, I was still in my pj's--should have jumped in the back of the picture, oh well...
Most of the girls left that morning, but Chisolm and I stayed until that evening just to hang out with Lanier and do some needle point. I'm making all of our Christmas gifts this year and have a good start--I hope I'll be able to get them all finished in time!
Thank you to Lanier for offering her lake house to our group. We had so much fun up there! I would also like to thank Anna and Elizabeth, our leaders. Thank you so much for organizing the retreat--it was a lot of fun and I can't wait to have another!
