Picking out our Tree

Having a Christmas tree is about one of my favorite things, ever!  I even made Alex go get a tree with me when we weren't even going to be home for Christmas--they are so pretty and it is so much fun to decorate and look at.  Well, due to Alex's call schedule, we had to wait waaaaaaaay longer than we hoped to get out tree this year, but we finally found a day where we could all go get it.  It turned out to be one of the coldest days of the year so far, it was FREEZING!  One of the good things about getting a tree so late (a week before Christmas) was that the trees were 50% off, so we got a huge, beautiful tree.  Here are some picture of us picking out the tree.

It was sooooooo cold!  Louisa ran around the trees non-stop to keep warm!

Louisa had a blast picking out our Christmas tree.  Once she picked it out, she ran around and around and around it until she got dizzy!

She was so sweet rocking brother to make sure he wasn't too cold--even Chisolm had fun picking out our tree!

Loaded up and ready to go--Louisa wanted to ride in the back with the tree!

We've picked it out and can't wait to get it home to decorate!

Here are a few pictures of getting the tree into the house (and our angelic children waiting so paitently, seriously...)

Dada had to trim the trunk (any excuse to use a saw, right?!), then haul that big tree inside!

then Louisa read a book to him.  (Angelic, right?!  They are like this ALL the time, I swear...)
