It is so hard for me to believe that my baby girl is 3 years old!! We had a lot of fun celebrating her birthday with a fire truck birthday party a few days before and a pedicure with mama on her birthday. There aren't many options for fire truck clothing for girls, so I had the best time making a fire truck dress for her. We also made a fire truck t-shirt together (I sewed on a ribbon and Louisa picked where the fire truck went)--we had a lot of fun together and it was lots of fun celebrating 3 wonderful years with this precious gift from God. Here are some pictures from her "birthday week"!
Let me tell you--the best entertainment (and for only $5!) for little kids--giant bubbles! Alex had the children chasing after him all afternoon trying to pop his giant bubbles. The children had a blast!

My little fireman is walking now, and Louisa is just too cute in one of the 3 birthday party hats she insisted on having!

Not a great picture of Louisa, but a good one of the dress I made for her!
Louisa helping mama make her fire truck t-shirt!
Louisa hamming it up at a special birthday lunch with mama. Louisa got to choose where we went and she chose Hueys (she wanted a cheesburger!).
Louisa and the birthday bear. This guy sings Happy Birthday and has candles that light up on his hat. Thank you to our fellow Memphians for thinking it was cute that she carried this bear around making him sing throughout our lunch!
After our visit to the fire station. Louisa was a little hesitant to visit the actual truck (she was SURE they were going to turn on the siren and she didn't want it to go off). The firemen were so kind and came out to visit with her and gave her all sorts of birthday presents.

Louisa's birthday breakfast. Each item specifically requested. On a side note, I think next year I'll give her a few options to pick from as the decision making process was quite difficult and time consuming. It was fun, though!
Louisa eating the yummy birthday breakfast.Louisa getting her first pedi! This little girl was so excited and had the best time. I couldn't believe she was able to sit still for so long!
What a good little girl sitting so still so her fingers and toes could dry. Ok, she wasn't a fan of the lady taking her picture, but this really was an exciting event for her!
So mama took a picture of the little one drying her fingers and toes.It took a little while, but she got her smile back (such a shy little one these days!). Here she is drying her beautiful blue fingers.
Dada holding her sparkler for her birthday. It was in the shape of a 3, but it was basically just a sparkler. It was fun, though!
Louisa and mama enjoying the 3 sparkler together!
By far, her favorite gift from mama and dada--a balance bike! Her eyes lit up like you wouldn't believe when she saw it and she is on it almost as much as she is awake! She rides it from her room to breakfast, from the kitchen to the living room, from there to outside...It is definitely getting lots of good use!
