Well, I finally found the chair I've been looking for Louisa to use at the dining room table. It is a toddler highchair--just raised so that she can sit comfortably at the table. I found it on craigslist for $30 and off we were to Mississippi to pick it up (for those of you not familiar with Memphis, that is only a 20 min drive). It had been painted a distressed yellow color which we were definitely going to change, but it was in great shape! Louisa proudly helped her daddy tighten up the screws, scrape and sand it down so that he could paint it white. It is perfect for her and she LOVES her new chair!
