Each of my children has become attached to a lovie like you wouldn't believe. Louisa named hers Mimi when she was about 12 months old. She named Chisolm's Sully (kind of cute--she was putting her possessives on the wrong word, so she was trying to say "Chisolm's Elly" and it came out "Chisolm Sully". Anyway, she called Chisolm's elephant lovie Sully), but apparently Mimi is easier to say and Chisolm insisted that his lovie was Mimi as well. Louisa was NOT happy about this (at all) at first, but I guess she has come to accept it. Every once in a while Chisolm will call his Mimi Sully, but not often. Anyway, on to Duke. He has a giraffe lovie. Louisa has named him Raffi. I have no idea if Duke will accept Raffi as the name of his lovie or if we will have 3 Mimis, only time will tell. Duke is already attached to his Raffi and this is how I find him when I wake him up...
Sweet smiles and hugging his lovie. He is such a sweet little man!
