Just a quick note, today Louisa started saying "Uh-Oh". First this morning when she was in her highchair at breakfast, she dropped her toast and I thought she said it. Then, all day long she would drop something and then look for it and say "uh-oh".
We also had a great afternoon at my friend, Shelley's house. Shelley invited us over to have lunch and swim in her pool. so we picked up sandwiches from Jimmy Johns (very good sandwiches!) and headed out to Germantown. Lunch was great, Louisa loved Miss Shelley's dogs, Molly and Arnie--they were very sweet to her and let her pet them and stick her finger in their mouths and noses. Then we got in the pool--Ahhhhhhhh, it felt sooooooo good! The water was cool and cut the heat like you wouldn't believe. Louisa had so much fun in her floaty thing and played and hung out and splashed around. We were sad to go, but Louisa was practically falling asleep in the pool, so home we came and she took a looooong nap!
Another bit of exciting news for me...I am officially an ebay seller! I posted an old blazer for sale that I haven't worn in a while and actually got a bid and sold it! It was very exciting, so we stopped by the post office on the way home to drop it in the mail--yea!
Alex is on call tonight, he had to go to work at 4:30 this morning and has been working hard all day. I spoke with him a little while ago and he has been in surgery most of the day. He has some paper work to do, then plans to sleep for a little while. They already have a case (surgeries are called cases) that will have to go later tonight, hopefully is isn't too late and hopefully it will be quick. Alex has to work a full day tomorrow, so he definitely needs his sleep tonight!

Jimmy John's seriously has the best subs EVER. We don't have one in Lynchburg, but there's one right down the street from our office in Christiansburg. I eat there almost every day I'm there ...
