I LOVED playing dress-up as a little girl. We had this huge old fashioned trunk that was full, no,
overflowing with dress up clothes. My grandmother and grandfather went to a costume party every year and would send us their costumes after they were finished with it. We played in that trunk all the time. We had fashion shows, we put on plays, we hosted parties, we had a ball! It is something I have always planned to have for my children--it's fun, encourages the use of imaginitive play, and keeps them away from the tv! Ok, so why am I talking about how I loved playing dress-ups when I was a child, because it appears that Louisa does too! A dear friend has passed along a few things that are too small for her children, and I can hardly keep Louisa out of them! Her favorite costume right now is the cow costume, but the dragon and ballerina outfits are up there too. Here are a few pictures of Louisa having fun playing dress-ups:
