Last weekend we celebrated Chisolm's 3 month birthday by heading back to the zoo for a fun family outing. We LOVE our zoo membership and are so thankful to Charlotte for giving it to us! Here are some shots of our most recent visit:

It's hard to see, but the birds are fighting!
I've always heard that residency gets harder and harder for the families as well as the resident, but I am not finding that to be the case here. Although Alex does have much more responsibility (he's leading the junior residents in surgeries now), he is home a lot more! Most of the call he takes these days is back-up call, so he doesn't have to go in to the hospital nearly as often. He is also home most evenings by 4 or 5. We are loving all the family time with him!
