Hanging out with Landon and Tres

Black Friday came and went and this family did no shopping.  Instead, we decided to meet the boys at the beach to have lunch with them and hang out.  Here are some pictures from our fun day with them:

The beach house Monnie rented was very, well, interesting.  Called Casa Flamingo (it was pink), every room had a theme and the owners went all out!  The living room had a pirate theme (we're talking naked mermaids, life-size pirates, fish nets hanging from the ceiling, etc).  The bedrooms had such interesting themes as Hippy Haven (walls painted black, black light for a light, stars and "hippy" posters hanging on the walls--see a picture to the right).  The other rooms were all fun-themed (dog room, cat room, baseball room, etc).  Libby chose Hippie Haven and graciously allowed Chisolm to nap there while she was Black Friday shopping with her mama.  It was obviously a house that the owners had every intention of renting to all sorts of people (read fraternities).  The furniture was chained to the floor, pictures and posters were screwed into the walls, and all of the "accessories" were glued to the tables.

Tres checking out the view.  They had one of those cool binocular things.  Louisa had to try it for herself, too...

Alex and Devon wanted to test out a physics theory.  Do you think they threw Tres over the side?  It was close, but Louisa's gatorade bottle went instead.  Louisa was pretty upset about it the rest of the afternoon (Mama, juice fall in water).

Alex, Louisa, and I on the porch.  Chisolm was still sleeping (too bad), it was a beautiful day!
