Happy Half-Birthday, Chisolm!

Little man started sitting up this weekend--he's getting to be such a big boy!

Well, after weeks of beautiful weather (we've been outside playing all day everyday!), the clouds, rain, and cold weather moved in for my half birthday. We pretty much stayed home and played most of the day, then ran a few errands this afternoon. The highlight was getting to go with Mama to Panera for dinner with her friends. It was a lot of fun to see sister and my friends while we were there too! I sat with Miss Trish and played with Louisa and Carly. We stopped by Miss Katie's house for a quick second to drop off some pictures from last weekend's trip to the zoo, then headed home for bed.

While I haven't gotten to meet him yet, I am so excited that my baby cousin, Liam, has arrived! He is already a week and a half old! We are heading home to Charleston this weekend and I can't wait to meet him and see Aunt Reeves and Uncle Billy again!

Today I am 6 months old:

• I weigh 14 lbs, 7 oz and am now 26 inches long. 50% for length, 5% for weight--I am a long skinny dude, what can I say?
• I am grabbing at everything!
• I am sitting up!
• I can blow bubbles and cluck my tongue
• I am starting to "talk" more by combining consanants and vowels
• still love those toes--mmmm!
• still love my exersaucer--so does my big sis!
• I am sucking my thumb to go to sleep
• reaching for and playing with my toys (and my sisters!)
• checking out everything!
• I love going on walks in the stroller (especially walking around the zoo!)

This month I have:

• stopped being swaddled and am still sleeping through the night!
• started eating solids--love me some apples and chicken
• been to the My Big Back Yard exhibit at the Memphis Botanical Gardens. Sister had so much fun, I can't wait until I can run around and play there too!
• dressed up as a skeleton for Halloween
• gotten to see the Yanks win the World Series!
• gotten a new cousin--yea for Liam!
• gone on a Bible Study Retreat with Mama--I was a total ladies man!
• shared my crib with a girl...Hey, Maddie needed to take a nap, too!
