The Forrest Spence 5K

I love the "slogan" Brittany and David have chosen for the Forrest Spence Fund: "Such a big miracle in such a little boy". It really rang true on September 6th at the first annual Forrest Spence 5Kwhich was a resounding success! We all got up early on the morning of September 6th to set up for the race and get ready for the participants--we were there at 5am! It was still dark when we got there, but there was such a great energy in the air, we were all so excited! Everything came together perfectly and we had an amazing turnout--over 750 race day participants and 250 ghost runners and we raised over $27,000! Truly a great thing, we were all so excited to honor Forrest's memory.

Please keep Brittany and David in your prayers as they await the arrival of their second child--Austin Allen Spence. Brittany is to be induced on September 25th (if he doesn't arrive sooner). Please keep them in your prayers that the doctors are able to administer the medication to her to keep Brittany and her son, Austin, safe. Also pray that Austin arrives a healthy, happy baby boy and can room-in with Brittany and David while they are in the hospital. We can't wait to meet little Austin!
